Administrative law

Administrative law pertains to the area of the legal system that regulates the operation and procedures of governmental agencies (both state and federal). Administrative law is like the traditional legal system, but has nuances that N. Stotler Law is capable of handling, including the following:

  • Federal and state labor department issues concerning wage and hour issues, fair pay issues, and issues arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, or local commissions established to investigate discrimination complaints
  • Zoning hearing boards, local agencies, and state, and local civil service commissions
  • Pennsylvania Department of Auditor General concerning municipal pension audits
  • Representation of zoning hearing boards, civil service commissioners, or municipal councils, commissioners and boards responsible for conducting hearings
  • Defense of unemployment compensation claims
